15 min break post

So really quickly before my break is up...
.I've begun my rotations here at HUP and thankfully its in endocrinology {nothing too pressing, learning a lot about nutrition, dieting, and intake management...my clinical psych classes at Drexel are actually being put to work} and my attending is GREAT!! Thank God, i was so nervous coming into this but it really has turned out great and surprisingly I remember more than I thought I would. Let's pray it stays that way. 3 more weeks and then it's on to Cardiology {not looking forward to this}
..I have the greatest most supportive man in the world!! I've had my crazy moments and he still is able to brush aside my harsh words at times :-( and do the most thoughtful things that just makes me blush...which isn't an easy thing. So thanks babe!! xoxoxo
...I was blessed to be accepted for a Neuro rotation at the illustrious Johns Hopkins University with two meetings with THE MAN Dr. Carson and this week I was blessed again to be accepted for my General Surgery rotation at the outstanding Cedar Sinai Hospital in good ol' New York City!!! SOOOO excited about this one
....So I've heard the crazy roommate is planning on moving into a house with her silly ass boyfriend. Why the move after just a year in her new place??? Well apparently her "furniture is just too big for her apartment". Everyday I have to say a prayer about my peace so that I can over-look her simple ass. But I'm happy, moving forward, and excited about my own future.
.....My god-daughter will be here soon and while my sister-in-law has 3 children already there is something about seeing someone I really grew up with waddle around and prepare to bring life into this world. I remember when both of our front teeth fell out the same weekend back in the 1st grade, i remember when we thought we were "FINALLY grown" when we could walk home by ourselves, how we cried when we found out we'd be going to different schools, getting in trouble together, fighting together...and now she's having a little one. I'm so excited!

Ok, back to my unit. I wish bed 240 window would stop screaming and finally go to sleep but oh well...
