The Weekend...

Ight well the term is done, finals are over, I'm still a lil weary about these final grades but the Father knows best, so I ain't goin stress 'em.

I'm on my way home to Brooklyn in the morning to surprise my Best Friend for her 22nd Birthday and my Uncle for his 52nd! J doesn't think I'm comin home {she thinks finals are still goin on ;-)} and her internet is shot so she can't read this b4 I actually get to her..lol.
Also it's Labor Day weekend and anybody that's eva been to Brooklyn around this time knows that this is the BEST PLACE TO BE RIGHT NOW!

Juevaux Morning starts at midnight on Sunday...Juevaux is the early morning party that goes on in the streets of Brooklyn in preparation of the Annual Caribbean Day Festival, this goes on til about 7 Monday morning. Then you head back to sleep til about 11 and head back out to the Parkway where the real party goes down. I can't wait to get back in the band...this year we're with Elephant Man and the Hot 97 truck so I know we goin be bangin it real heavy {I CAN'T WAIT}, this party goes on til 8 Monday evening. Then you head back home to eat/sleep til about 10 and then all the 21 and over crews head out to the dancehalls and clubs and 'wok it down stank, seen'...lol lil Jamaican for yall...

I'll be back by Tuesday for my rehab session and work on Wednesday but then I'll be in B-more with my ex :-/ {yea I know it sounds funny but we're cool like that}. I neva been there before so we'll see what they got poppin in B-more. Then I'll be home again for my other girl Shani's 23rd B-day {dang the crew gettin old}. I just realized, I got so many Virgos in my life it's crazy!!!
Tasha's B-day is comin up on the 12th, so stay tuned for more party details and I think I'm gonna be hostin more Sunday dinners and football parties ova here, just to get everyone together, we'll see bout that though.
