Drop In-
So I went home this weekend for the 10th Anniversary Reasonable Doubt concert at Radio City...I have a confession...I'M IN LOVE WITH JAY-Z! I've always said he looked like Joe Camel but he was a nice lyricist {unfortunately he was the only rapper who knew SAT words and wasn't afraid to use them} but his Bk swagger and total attitude is so sexy sometimes I don't know what to do {LOL} sad, yea i know and anyone that knows me knows I don't really talk about guys like that but, Shawn Carter, got that! For a while now I've pictured my perfect guy to be him, with a better face and stomach{lo}. I only know one guy like him, but he's from the twin borough :-/
The concert was on point and Brooklyn was definitely in the building, I got to see some friends from junior high there, I'll post some pics later. But after it let out we headed to the after party at the Roxy where I ran into an old "friend", I'm glad to see him doin well and happy in his new relationship but of course I had to ask mysekf 'What if?'...anyway, the night was fun and exactly what I expected, glad I got to go home and eat some real food, I haven't been able to cook the way I want to because my kitchen is not the way I want it just yet and I've been working like a slave to take care if this hold with Drexel :-(
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Funny Story: I'm walkin up 5th to meet with my boy and his sister and she has the only attitude. When I asked her what her problem was she said, 'Some lil African is havin a party in the hotel and their whole tribe was runnin around the place'. I cracked up because she's so ignorant but then I remembered, a friend from DU was having a graduation party at the hotel who was African and I damn near died!!! lol
so anyway...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Of course whenever I go home lately I spend way too much time in Harlem {mainly because alot of my Bk friends aren't around anymore, either away at school or AWAY :-(} but I chilled with some of my girls and found one thing disturbingly repeptitive: EVERYONE HAS THESE 'NO TITLE' RELATIONSHIPS! What is that? They're not together but they kinda are but they're not considered butt-buddies, I tried to understand it but then they couldn't explain why they made it that way. Only one of my girls was honest enough to say 'I'm not over the ex so I don't want to jump into anything serious, but he's {the new guy} is more than Mr. Rebound but I don't know if he can replace the Ex-Factor'. At first I thought it was pathetic because she and her ex broke up a year ago and she's been twice replaced, but then I got a lil upset, why couldn't she be by herself then? Why pretend that she could really move on with this other person when in the back of her mind she's wishing that the ex will come along and sweep her back off her feet? Is it a waste of time for the 'no-title relationship'? or can it truly blossom with time into some real?

Ok, I'm done goin on with this...tryin to stay on top of this 4.0 game, started out a lil rocky but I'm determined to snatch my degrees outta Papadakis's hand come June '07 and run straight outta Philly ;-)

i think its half and half.. it really depends on if ure meant for the person or not i guess, me and kern started off with a no title relationship and it bloomed, however me and rob had a no relationship title and it got doomed, so i guess it really depends on what both people want out of the situation.. lol but yo that african tribe shit is hilarious
